I'm not looking at the fights. I'm looking at the facts.

Madara's Prime is when he only had EMS. Fastforward and Madara were later revived via Edo Tensei into his Prime by Kabuto. That Edo Tensei was special because it was Madara and Hashirama combined, along with the power of Sage of Six Paths. However, it was not to his full power, according to the conditions of Edo Tensei. Fast forward again, "Rebirth" Madara regain his full power and retrieved his one eye Rinnegan, which allowed him to take back the Tailed Beast and become Juubi Jinchuuriki. It was stated by the Third Hokage Hurizen that Juubi Jinchuuriki Obito was stronger than Hashirama and later by Minato that Madara was stronger than Obito.

If you want to talk about fights, Naruto and Sasuke literally had to gain the Sage of Six Path's power to compete.

It's not that he was stronger than JJ Madara. When Madara had EMS he made more of an effort to fight.

When he became JJ he seemed to became complacent and a bit drunnk with the power so he made less effort and was less vigilant in battle.
