There's really not a lot left to say about this subject at this point guys. Like them if you want, they're clearly wanted otherwise they wouldn't get made. I get that inconsistencies and bad pacing exist but we at NB really are the minority. All you have to do is look at any Youtube or Crunchyroll video section and see all the people

Watch what you like but there are so many good fillers and invalidating good stories for other people who enjoy them and convincing them they're not worthy of relevance or entertainment is a bit lame.

100% agree. This episode proves Sp don't even know what they're doing. Knew this wouldn't be the good the moment I saw Indra having Sasuke's MS in the preview.

@Bold: Well that's not entirely true. The manga and anime is so big at this point that they could essentially do whatever they want, and they still won't lose much of their fanbase, just because of nostalgia and loyalty, or a desire to stick it out to the end (as for Anime only watchers, the series is not over, like it is for us).

Things wrong with this episode

-Indra has Sasuke's MS for some reason even though we've already seen his MS in the Manga which is that swirly pattern
-Why is Hagoromo standing around this entire filler arc like a fodder?
-Wasn't Indra vs Ashura according to the Manga supposed to happen after Hagoromo died?
-Where did Ashura get the Shinsu Senju from he's supposed to have his three headed avatar?
-According to Cannon, Ashura got his powers from training not them being gifted?

No im not wrong , it was said an interview lately , artondrius who is the source of everything naruto anime related said that kishi was involved . SP asked kishi questions about this filler arc . Thats why blame kishi too since he helped them with it

Well I'm active on 3-4 anime sites and this is the only one where people care this much about separating the gospel canon from the blasphemous unworthy filler episodes. Crunchyroll just enjoy them for what they are and whilst YT might groan, they still follow and talk about them.

Some of the best episodes I've seen and my Fav fight in the series isn't technically in the manga but it's still an amazingly animated, well choreographed and thematically relevant battle YKnow? Technically Madara's Return is filled as well under most people's logic. Yet I see Gifs and acceptance of that constantly...

Sorry, I'd say the overly intense guys are yourselves. No one even really cares until you guys start crying about people calling them fillers. I never called anyone dumb for it, save for 123filler, but he's earned it, your last statement makes me not even take you seriously because this is yet another time you use a blanket statement to literally insult people who don't like to watch fillers. Your worse than we are to be honest. And btw, I've been on many a forum and heard the word filler and canon used from dbz, to hxh, to bleach and pretty much any other longer running anime. It's simply a term that separates what's in the original manga and what's not, the fact that there's a group of people that find it derogatory or insulting in any way is hilarious to me. If you like it, watch it, a simple word shouldn't rustle you so much that every statement you make about it is followed by an insult to people who don't share your point of view.

'Crying' ?

This isn't a competition who cares the least and is the coolest anime nerd between us, it's genuinely a topic that interests me. I wrote my Uni dissertation on stuff that heavily involved this, there's no anger or crying involved- it's called a debate and in real life people have them perfectly sensibly.

Also in real life, actual people tend to laugh and apologise when they misunderstand somebody. Not that I expect anything from NB.

I quoted you directly, I changed nothing other than the length. You seem to keep trying to take a position of superiority in this "argument" when there is none. You don't think fillers should be called fillers? Cool, you wrote a dissertation on it? Yea I know you've mentioned it quite a few times in your posts, for someone accusing someone taking something out of context your pretty bad at it yourself. Hagaroma was so pathetic this episode it is crazy. I originally thought he only named a successor on his deathbed but instead he somehow lives another like 20 years past that. Then why did he need to name a successor right away. Also I thought with the rinnegan, being the jinchuriki of the ten tails, and having a power that Indra and Ashura only inherited have of he was far above their level. I thought he could easily beat both of them so they only started fighting after he was already dead. In this episode we are to believe the Indra would attack when Hagaroma is still alive and all he can do is sit their helpless and try to lend a hand in Ashura fighting him. He was so nerfed it was absurd.
