So much bullshit from this episode. I don't usually get upset about this stuff, but SP must be filled with morons who lack the competence to even read the manga they plan to animate later. I don't plan to get into any of these points, so I will simply list them one by one.
That's all I can care to remember from a single viewing. Feel free to discuss. I may or may not join in.
-Hagoromo really expected Indra to know the consequences of unforeseeable events? Events Hagoromo wouldn't have even known about unless Gamamaru told him?
-Hagoromo really decided to entrust his younger son on the sole basis that he learned a single lesson, rather than simply teaching Indra that lesson?
-The Curse of Hatred was retconned, apparently. Hagoromo believes everyone with the sharingan is a prick, yet we know for a fact that's because of Indra's hatred being passed down, which we know for a fact was because Ashura was chosen over him, so... his choice shouldn't have been due to Indra's increasing anger.
-Hagoromo believes the sharingan makes Indra evil, but he himself has a sharingan and isn't evil. So at most, Hagoromo knows that 50% of sharingan users are evil, but he doesn't believe that maybe his kid is corrupted or just a ****?
-Hagoromo preaches about the hard, long path being most valuable, but then gives Ashura all of his power as a free handout without any further trial or hardship. Sounds like the easy path to me.
-Ashura didn't "awaken" his powers through friendship as the manga has specifically told us numerous times. He was given it after being a nice guy. Sounds familiar though.
-Ashura is Naruto. Naruto is Ashura. We get it, and a combined rasengan that gets thrown doesn't make the comparison any less cringe-worthy. *Gag*
-Indra is Sasuke. Sasuke is Indra. We get it, and having a "totally not chidori" lightning hands attack doesn't make the comparison any less cringe-worthy. *Gag*
-Indra's MS is Sasuke's MS now? That's literally never happened before, and has no reason to happen. MS designs are unique, and not even Madara (another Indra transmigrant) had Indra's design, or anything close to Indra's design.
-Apparently MS + Hagoromo's Chakra is very much comparable to RSM + All of Hagoromo's given powers + Mokuton +All of Ashura's Friends. Interesting.
-Wait, did they really just choose to transmigrate, or was that all metaphorical and ironic?
