I think Kakashi stuck more to Sasuke because he had greater potential

It's not his chakra, it's the Kyuubi's. Naruto doesn't have a chakra supply like that.
And Kurama did it first through Naruto's body so it's not a surprise his body adapted to it.
Backtracking however, you were talking about the chakra given to Sasuke, not Kakashi. You said that was not Naruto's, but no, that one is Naruto's chakra. This Kyuubi's, true, but that, that was Naruto.

No it was the Kyuubi's. It wasn't Naruto's chakra. The scan you posted explains it as well. The Kyuubi gives Naruto chakra and Naruto adjusts it's chakra to suit the recipient.

Or maybe you should just read the manga. he stuck with sasuke because they were similar and he was his more precious student. had nothing to do with potential, (which clearly was on naruto's side thanks to kurama)

I'm pretty sure Kurama is more or less making his chakra into Naruto's, but I'm basing this off the fact that Naruto constantly refers to it as HIS chakra, not the Kyuubi's...

They had the same personality more or less, and kakashi saw himself in sasuke. Team minato paralleled to team 7 even. Also kakashi seemed to lack the patience to deal with naruto and sakura was probably considered bothersome to him.
Naruto was handling Kurumas chakra. Also they were merged so its his. Also he passed out his own chakra just so others can use the foxes through the cloak.
Its was Narutos+Kyuubis chakra, which also powered up Sasuke like everyone else.
Im fully aware that the fox is seperate. Never said it wasnt. But its still Narutos Kyuubi chakra. The kyuubi is his.
My quote was in response to someone saying Naruto needed all the beasts and outside goveaways when Sasuke also had his fair share and a healthy amount of help even from the main char himself.
