It's no surprise they'd hate minato since he is naruto' dad. The itachi vs minato rivalry stemmed from the fact minato/itachi were Naruto/Sasuke strongest direct relatives. Jman gets hate from jman vs itachi threads which stemmed from itachi admitting inferiority to jman in part 1.

The rasengan springs it's origins from the TBB. on the other hand something like Tobirama's Edo Tensei is exclusive and original. That's the point.
