We already seen Sasuke react to near death Situations (Naruto as well but i can't recall any as prominent). You have an arsenal of Jutsu for a reason and Just as how Madara negated the Kages sealing him by unleashing his full power, Sasuke could have done the Same against Obito at that moment.

First of all you/we are focusing on one occasion in Naruto manga story. And then you need to acknowledge what had happen at that time and what not yet happen at that time.

At that time Sasuke not yet able to used PS. If he can, he already used it.

If i am an artist and I see a butterfly then i go on to make a drawing of the said butterfly, i have created something. Is it originial? No it's not because my drawing is a COPY of something that already exists.

Does Rasengan resemble TBB apart from the way it been created? MP3 player is an original idea that function the same as Radio plus other added functions so as Rasengan.

Minato's main will technically always be more original than sasukes though :sdo: that being said, the feat in itself is thinking to rotate and stabilize wind chakra like that to mimic the tbb. The tbb was the one of the baddest offensive attacks theyd probably seen at time, the originality is in thinking to use something a giant beast is using, usable in cqc style combat, next?

minato was one of the most badass characters in the entire series. He was powerful without any special gifts, was a great analyst and strategist. What more can you ask of a character? Obviously he wasn't going to win it all because naruto and sasuke were the main characters. At least minato got beat up by jubi jin level characters. Lets see how other powerhouses went. Hashirama got beat up by pre jin madara, so did tobirama. Both sasuke and naruto and Bee got one shotted by pre jin madara. All gokages got played with by pre jin madara. Minato got defeaated by jubi jins and yet managed to damage them even in defeat by helping both naruto in pulling out tailed beasts from obito and taking away TSB's the most dangerous weapon of madara.
That pretty much sums up his character for u.
And i can see most of guys on this thread are sasuke fanboys. Don't forget what he had no creation of his own either. And was taught everything. Minato learned a technique and taught even his master that technique. Know the difference. And sasuke even with EMS got humiliated by blind madara lol. That doesn't even come close to minato's defeat. Because minato still had fight left in him and sasuke almost died.

The great hiruzen personally chose Minato to succeed him, I don't see old man hiruzen beating him, prime maybe lol but knowing what he was capable of and STILL picking Minato at so young?
