No I meant what I said lol Vegeta will teach Trunks SSB. He already told Cabba how to achieve it. But for some reason I doubt he will train him much to go that far.

That would suck imo.

SSB should continue to be very rare with only Goku and Vegeta being able to use it. The way Toriyama handled the "super-saiyan" power-up is already a big mess. Trunks should get stronger in a different way.

I've saw Vegeta go SSJ 3 before but it was a game. Wish it was true. But I also wish toriyama made SSJ 4 canon that was badass and it made more sense. But would also leave a plot hole.

The only thing with SSJ3 is it's a waste of energy and burns out quick. Then, you can make a REALLY serious argument that Goku never learned to master SSJ3. If Vegeta knew how to transform, but saw all the weaknesses of the form, why would he teach Trunks that?

I doubt even if Vegeta trained him he would get SJJB, maybe SSJ 3 but that's it.

I mean it's convenient Goku showed him SSJ 3 and now Vegeta is giving him some training.

Yes and no. Each form of Super Saiyan burned through a lot of energy just to transform and then the form lost power quickly. 4x as fast for SSJ2 and 8x as fast for SSJ3, balanced with the respective strength multiplier. Goku mastered SSJ1 by learning to transform without wasting KI. He never did that for either form according to the guide books.

Do that still apply with Goku now? Because as SSB he learned how to control his ki and transform without wasting much of it. So SSJ 3 shouldn't waste a lot of energy anymore since he have almost completely mastery over his ki.

There's no need to transform into that now. Akira said it a few years ago that Goku would only train his base and Super Saiyan forms. There's a pretty solid theory running out there that Goku and Vegeta have learned to harness their power as a SSJ2/3 in their first SSJ form.

The last manga chapter explained via Whis that multiple transformations wreck the KI, but using God Mode drains stamina, so they're still learning.

That's kinda what i'm saying though because if I remember right Whis said to go SSB you have to learn and control your ki better. And that SSJ drains them because of that. So in theory SSJ 3 shouldn't drain them no more if they learned how to control their ki.

But I also heard that Akira wasn't gonna show SSJ 3 anymore which he did recently lol.

Though that does sound badass honestly. A SSB 2 or SSB 3 if it was possible. Hell even a SSB 4 would be badass if he made SSJ 4 canon.
