It seems alot of people are confused about this. If it wasn't for the war at least Naruto would never surpass Hashirama since he already reached the maximum height of his power at age 16 and it would level off there for the rest of his life. Sasuke would have eventually reached Madara's level with enough training experience.

Naruto unlocked BSM at 16. 20 years later BSM is still his strongest form under RSM (powerup).

Except this is a poor example because if memory serves correctly in this scene both are teeming up to fight Madara.

At this point Madara has not only been revived via Edo Tensei (which, I dont care what anyone or the manga says, Madara was WAY better off as a zombie since he could kamikaze all day long), he had been modified by Kabuto to be enhanced by Hashirama cells, he had TWO Rinnegan eyes, AND he was the Juubi-Jin.

My point being that if we were talking about bare-bones, unenhanced, alive Madara (same with Hashirama) both Naruto and Sasuke had at the very least reached their level far before the war.

I don't think you understand how the transmigrations work. Naruto had ashura's chakra all along and this is why they were so similar. Same for Sasuke and Indra. Transmigrants gain the level of power they do because they are transmigrants. How is a 50% Kurama bijuu Dama going to destroy Hashirama's Mokuton constructs?

i agree that Tobirama cannot beat Enton but Hashirama should be able to with things like bunshin and Mokuton Defenses. You probably forgot he has versatile jutsu. and no they were not the only elite Senju

2) Kurama said it was "like" Madara's (They were both transmigrants) not that it was stronger.
3) Because he got his EMS at a younger age, hence why it's so immature.
4) Orochimaru was right but he only surpassed Madara when he gained the powerup.

Naruto was fighting the juubi head to head. Do you think Madara or Hashirama could ever do that?
Hashirama would need to use head seals to bind it otherwise he dies, and even madara would die if not for the rinnegan.

They completely surpass them that it's not even funny. Like what can EMS Madara do that EMS Sasuke hasn't already done? On top of that he has enton/amatersu that can take out bijuus. BM or Bsm naruto took on the juubi and tanked its attacks, that's already enough to triumph over sm hashirama
