Why are we not talking about Kingdom, what are you people doing? Kanki just made a corpse ladder which may just be one of the more grotesque things in a manga. Great art, great story, great characters more people need to read this so we can hopefully get a better animated version.

Now you have, I highly recommend it. A lot of good action and fights, doesn't shy a way from the gritty when needed and doesn't throw it around either.



To both: Definitely read the manga, the anime has an odd animation style(I think I heard they used computer animation)

Yeah I don't see your point. So I told you what type of comedy there was, ok and that means? Trailers do it all the time, show you the type of action/drama/comedy that will be throughout the movie, that's how you get people interested and give them reason to try something. If someone tells you check this thing out it's so awesome then doesn't show you anything awesome about are you likely to try it yourself?

Yea but like Jean Grey was saying, from the pages you should us it just makes him look like some cliche idiot. That scene of checking to see if she's a female or not has been done so many times? The pages you should us were nothing new and was a poor selling point. It wasn't even that funny. Surely, you could've showed us something way better than that.

It's just something overdone & it's not like I'm going to remember all the series that has done it. Ofc there's going to be cliches in almost all manga's but I'm saying that's not going to draw in a lot of people. Manga's like HxH & YYH have done it already (I'm sure there's manga series that are older that did it before those two). The action scenes look nice but again nothing special.

First two. Large full pages of several columns of an unfunny cliche joke. I didn't even check the spoiler because it already put me off. And I don't even have anything against the manga. I would probably not care about the scene if I was reading it for rest of the stuff. If you cannot see the problem fine. But IMO it would be better to put more positive scenes before the cliches ones.

The ruler of the Land has more such scenes and yet has handled it a lot better. ( that hero is not stupid either- but downright perv but you learn to ignore it because he has his redeeming points and also because he learns to behave enough and it's not overdone). Still If I would be asking you to read it I would ask you to do so for interaction between characters and how the incidents ripple in it.

Purely fictional. It just have that retro and historical atmosphere to it.
