Well its good to know you think like that but I wasn't trolling when I said that tbh, after all Naruto has been the MC throughout and talking of bashing you should check the OP and tell me who started it.
I won't mind a Sasuke movie at all tbh, it'll be cool but the OP could've made this thread without bashing Naruto in the first place...

I hope it actually happens and the movie focuses solely on Sasuke and doesn't include characters like Naruto because it will ruin the theme of the movie.

It would have cool action and battle scenes , but that is about it. The problem with a purely Sasuke movie is the fact that Sasuke has always been that laid back loner type character. With just Sasuke , the movie would have no humor , light-hearted scenes , suspense , etc... If you do just Sasuke and none of the other characters from Konoha , then you would be better off just making a Sasuke vs (insert whatever antagonist) here OVA rather than make a full movie out of it.

Dark knight characters like Sasuke are cool , but they do not possess all the elements of entertainment, and if they are all alone then it would eventually get boring. That is just my opinion though.

One question though: How would Naruto's presence ruin the theme of a hypothetical movie whose intended theme remains as of yet unknown? What theme are you referring to?

Kishimoto is done with his Naruto career but even so he has given Sasuke the MC justice when the Boruto movie came out, even though Boruto was the MC it felt like Sasuke was the one most involved with the plot. From going to search information about the villain which was his first kenjutsu fight with Kinishiki, to taking Boruto under his wing, to rescuing Naruto.

Sasuke has been a part of a lot of events. Sasuke was the character that inspired him to write this manga so a sole movie featuring Sasuke's journey after losing the battle of ideals to Naruto might not be so bad.

Hasn't he said that in the past as well? Now that's a movie I'll watch without being bored to death. No Naruto means not having to deal with him and his mentally challenged brood and that damaged-goods he calls a wife. That would mean no Sakura and her ravening desire for his genitals.

It's a win-win. Hebi and Taka arcs were brilliant.
