Did anyone else thought the byakugan was going to be redeemed?

Byakugan was very neglected in the main series for a long time. Always overshadowed by the sharingan and rinnegan. So when i heard the big bad of the series was going to wield it, i was expecting to see the byakugan to be use to it's fullest potential but nah, instead we just see a OP version of the vacuum palm. But wait! The byakugan's going to get an upgrade? It sure did but...

It turned out to be a poor man's rinnegan rip off. Wait, two more byakugan wielding villains are gonna show up? Surely they'll deliver! Nah, the main one didn't even activate his byakugan in the final friggin fight.

Tl;dr Even tho the byakugan was used by OP aliens and got an upgrade, it got neglected and seemed useless.
Rip byakugan, just like shino you'll be forgotten.

The Byakugan was overhsadowed, because unlike the Sharingan it's Abilities were Chakra Based. And only low chakra characters had it, so it looked weak.

But Otsutsuki's have the largest chakra pools, so the Byakugan seem OP on them.

The Bykugans strength is based on the Chakra Capacity of it's use. The Byakugan can be much stronger than any other DoJutsu depending on it's wielder.

Correction: Byakugan users can be weak or strong. The Byakugan itself shows no difference between someone like Hanabi and someone like Kaguya. Just 360 X-ray vision, every Byakugan has that.

Actually Byakugan strongest ability is to detect VITAL POINT, that mean everything in front of it is useless. But the power and the skill to land an effective hit on the vital point is another different story :lol
