That's not the vibes I was getting but whatever
The police aren't the problem here. You can't let a few officers represent every officer. Same principle applies to race too.
The only problem here in the U.S. is the media and public overreaction
The people who were shot were two grown ass men with guns. I think that Sterlings death was totally justified however Castiles was not. If the police went on a rampage killing unarmed peaceful citizens of any race I would be pissed but people with rap sheets messing with their pockets when the police are talking to them get shot I won't shed a single tear

I agree. Not every offer condones brutality. Many are genuinely trying to serve and protect us.

But sadly, their are a small portion of Police that abuse their rights. And it is sad that innocent police have to pay for that.

Ok
I take back what I initially said then
I have talked to so many people who believe cops are shooting black people purely based on their skin color without taking a look at the circumstances leading up to the shooting
This shit drives me insane. If a hill billy ass methed out white guy gets shot and killed by the police I don't give a damn because he is not me. I wish other people could apply this logic. If you are a non violent law abiding respectful citizen of any race and someone with a criminal history possessing a fire arm gets shot by law enforcement you shouldn't be appalled in the least. The guy shot is not your friend and didn't share your same values.

The thing is. What if the Police continue with the brutality? Do we just accept it?

So basically it's protest/react to police brutality and "Live under strict militant government with a lot more of their freedoms taken away"

Or Tolerate the brutality and "Go back to normal day to day" life?
Best you can do is protest... non-violent protests are what is needed. Killing innocents who actually take their job seriously or have served in the military to protect this country isn't going to help your cause. I honestly believe that with the media and everything complete government control is what they want and the best way to do it is to make the general population look uncontrollable. In a fight where its the people vs the government whoever has the military wins.

To determine what is best for the people one must stop and think about the long run and honestly from what I'm seeing the long run is going to be one of those two options.

This exactly
If there is any fight that needs to be fought in America it's the ever growing oligarchic government vs the people
Congressmen can be bought and if they refuse to pledge fielty to the establishment they are killed (Kennedys) or passed off as looney (Ron Paul)
Don't believe me? Well it just fkn happened to Bernie Sanders

I don't care if I have no relationship with a victim.

Using Alton Sterling as an example. The police that shot him were not aware of his Criminal Record. And even if they were, having a Criminal Record is NOT a crime. Also he was full restrained, at the time of his shooting. He was not resisting and he was pleading with the offers. And the gun was removed before he was shot.

At the time of his death he posed no threat to the offers.

I just dont see why they chose to kill him.

I agree to an extent. Peaceful protest is better than acting radically. But considering that most of the time peaceful protest don't accomplish anything but spreading awareness, many will act radically.

It's really starting to feel like a lose-lose situation.

exterminate whom?

It doesn't matter what race tbh. My point is that once it's over you can't fight against what doesn't exist anymore or reduced to an amount that becomes irrelevant. That's historically fact. The alternative would be have a threat (kinda like 9/11) to bond us together as americans to fight the threat. It's sad but that is really the only true two options us "evolved" humans got. Protest could work ect but its going to be such a long time, especially since people seem to get dumber and unfortunately even more racist. Smh

Some witnesses say that there wasn't a gun on Sterling. Plus, I heard either Sterling or Philando were pulled over, because the size of their nose made the cops believe either one was a bank robber. I forgot who, but I'm going to ask my classmate, who got a lot of info on the whole thing. There was a lot of false info the cops gave to the media to cover their tracks.

Pathetic.

The things Malcolm X says applies to what is happening today....

That video was powerful, especially the last few statements.

I hope things get better for you guys in America.

The gun was removed before he was shot?

The cop reaches in and takes the gun 34 seconds into the video. He warned the dude not to try anything or he'd be killed. He didn't listen so he died.

Try being objective for once in your life. The philando castile shooting in Minnesota warrants a voluntary manslaughter charge. Stop making this about races and look at them in a case by case basis.

Ferguson:should have been shot
Eric Garner: Died on accident, We can't let everyone up every time they say the can't breathe.
Tamir Rice: the call said a grown man was threating people with a gun. They had no way of knowing he didn't have a real gun and wasn't a threat to civilian lives.
Philando Castile: Innocent, cop deserves charges.

Charleston SC: cop was dirty, got charged.

Try being objective about the killings. Or you can continue to alienate white people. choose a race war. I prefer that one honestly. We need a little separation.

If a race war did happen, i'd suspect people like you would be the FIRST ones to hit the bucket, lmao.

people like me being white dude trained with guns our entire lives? Because i'm scared of a black man that has a gun he may have shot ten times in his life if he's a real banger.

Yes, as if there weren't black people who have the same amount of experience of you. You have a mindset that needs to die out, and fast. You're honestly a parasite.

Martin luther king and gandi got their point across king ended jim craws law and gandii got indias indipendence
So a peaceful protest is better because you win over more support
