Both can't kill each other. The Rinnegan and RSM will balance out. Sasuke was also nerfed in that fight because his Rinnegan was new and he couldn't absorb jutsus at he same time he was casting them.

Nah, Naruto is Sasuke's father figure. Given the fact that Naruto is a superior ninja, someone in Sasuke's position would obviously admire someone like Naruto. Sasuke does not have what it takes to defeat Naruto, not only that but Naruto is Sasuke's current father figure, that is why Sasuke will never again attempt to raise his hand to his superior.

I can't understand why no one acknowledges this when Kishi spent the entire manga emphasizing that they were equal
