He countered ameno combo, by sensing sasuke to block in time. Which was stupid to begin with. What he should had done was ameno naruto into his technique combo like he did with madara.

naruto did not block the attack...he got hit by it and got sent flying...he tanked it...and if naruto tanked the chidori then amemo'ing naruto into would not have made a difference

Sasuke dint had his sword because it fell in to the lava but even if he did had it wouldnt make any harm to naruto and the reason why he was stabed in gaiden its because he had his guard down (because whe already saw 4th raikage taking that sword easily.
