This scan proves naruto either never got knocked out or woke up before sasuke. Naruto says they,shouldn't move too much or they'll die, but I doubt a simple movement to grab a pebble, a small chakra charge (he had time to recharge a tiny bit before sasuke woke up), and a slight flick would've made a difference to naruto dying or not. Naruto showed sasuke mercy, be thankful he allowed sasuke to give you his salad to toss

Yeah probably they would flip the script because most of them are fanboys who have to put one character over the top of another. They can't stand if their fave lost or is inferior.

I thought this battle's results were quite clear though. Ideals goes to Naruto, physically it was a tie. There was no clear winner because Kishi wanted to portray them as equals and that's it. Those past battles the reason why Sasuke won was because Kishi wanted to emphasize Naruto was the under dog and this story would be dedicated to Naruto to see how he can catch up to Sasuke.

Nearly every Sasuke fan would call it a straight up loss in all categories, while fapping.

In the end, no solid wins have been made. There has yet to be a fight where both go at each other with everything without holding back.
Plot basically preserved Sasuke up till Vote 2.
