And not really, Only a fool would believe gentle fist would work against a byakugou user, given they have sealed chakra that can be released at any moment, not to mention a medicals ninja complete control over their own Chakra network. Tsunade was able to stop herself from bleeding out while cut in half, Sakura was able to heal a sword wound, while the sword was impaled in her, without and handseal, and she was stopping the bleeding from the wound itself

OT: I personally firmly believe that a 3t user vs Hyuga would strongly depend on the individuals in that battle. Now a Hyuga against an MS user is no competition Uchiha wins that.

Against byakugou users is another tricky one. I initially give the advantage to the Hyuga as their fluent movements and combat style should easily evade and counter the strong fist style while dealing massive amounts of damage. Now if the byakugou user took severe dmg and had chakra points closed all they would have to do is activate their byakugou healing themselves and reopening their chakra points and putting the fight pretty much back to square one. Reclosing the chakra points probably wouldn't prove effective since their chakra flow now comes from the seal, meaning they could probably reopen their points at will and heal any internal dmg unless the Hyuga lands a clean blow and just completely obliterates them or close the seal itself.

Even if ur right that byakugo could reopen points , It doesnt happen instantly and would take time for the seal's chakra to move from the seal and reopen all her points through the whole body , In that time they wont be able to heal and would only be trying to reopen points which takes times since the byakugo's chakra is concentrated in the seal on the forehead.

The hyuga easily and quickly kills the byakugo user in this time-frame , but even beyond that , there is not even any proof to show that Byakugo would be usable after 64 palms due to the simple fact that Jyuken blocks the Users eg. (Sakura/Tsunade) from channeling Chakra themselves , Naruto had kurama who channeled Chakra for him , which also took time.

Byakugan can easily see where Byakugou users are focusing their chakra and predict their attacks, also by cutting off chakra points along the arms and leg they no longer have the strength to fight.

Same with 3T Sharingan users they can easily predict their attacks by analyzing the flow of their chakra, then a strong Gentle Fist or Rotation attack wrecks. A skilled Byakugan user is questionable as well against a MS user

Byakugan as a fact hold better ability than 3 tomoe sharingan but it didn't insure they can survive somebody with much skillful in weapon and poison.
