Sarada is an Uchiha, with the goal of becoming Hokage.
She's already indefinitely on her way towards Kage Level with the Uchiha status alone, and the goal of becoming Hokage. If anything people should be happy that a female character isn't being used as a cump dump as her only goal.
People in my point of view, only seem to be hesitant because she's a female. If she fails it's due to the writers inability to actually take care of her character.

She did get a decent amount in gaiden and so far it was positive. Question is will the writer be able to maintain it.
Exactly, if Sarada is written properly then she'll be the first Uchiha to become the Hokage. This will not only improve her character overall but show how much has changed since Tobirama's Era, where people can acknowledge an Uchiha's will to protect the village. But we can only hope the writers will continue to strengthen Sarada as time goes by.

all the ingredients are there for her character to progress if the writers actually care to do it. for example so many things sasuke can teach this girl and turn her into something formidable in the same manner as madara did to obito who quite franky was a dud until he awakened his 2t. but they wont allow him train her, so yeah its up to the writer.

Agreed. I mean honestly I don't see how Sarada won't be more powerful as the story continues - Like anytime she needs a quick power up, they can implement her Sharingan upgrade.
Plus she has only shown CES in terms of chakra techniques. There's still a lot of her to learn, even Sakura learned medical ninjutsu on the side. So her potential is still extremely vague.
Right. I'm crossing my fingers that the guys don't turn Sarada into a stereotypical tsudnere character. I'm hoping the character design doesn't change her character itself.
That design needs to go, or hopefully after the Movie if there's a time skip, her new design doesn't show much. I mean even Tsuande looked appropriate despite her body shape, they shouldn't be playing these games. Naruto isn't known for fan service. Keep that ish in Fairy Tail Kodachi.

It would also be cool to see her journey to hokage parallel to borutos journey, and to see a woman become hokage, even when they made tsunade hokage they made a point to tell us it was pretty much only cause oro was bad, Minato died, and jiraya just said no
Sarada fan's have a lot to look forward to (as in any next generation character), but her especially because of the Hokage goal. We've already seen one character whom is in her parallel (Hokage/Shadow) probably reach the end of his training.

I can't but help think that Sarada is already High-Kage by the time we finish this rehash and hopefully get towards the new content. The only downside is that there really isn't a Village anymore to govern, so by the end of the series she'll most likely be a full fledged Adult wearing the cape and hat.
The downside is waiting all that time for the series to catch-up. We're like halfway there now... but still.
Also heads up, there's a new interview with Kishimoto and Ikemoto. Sadly no one has translated it, it might contain new information on the series.

She wasn't from a readers perspective. She doesn't look like karin and you know it. Similar glasses will have her look like anyone.
