An expert with a 3Tomoe Sharingan is better than an Amateru with MS

Doesn't chane the fact he could've easily killed Sasuke with Amaterasu

Amaterasu doesn't burn its target instantly, so no, he couldn't.

Or are we going to just conveniently forget the very same ORK that he used to escape Itachi's Amaterasu before. Whether anyone likes it or not, Itachi is not easily killing Hebi Sasuke. A single use of MS in his healthier state tired him, never mind going on a kamikaze MS spamming spree a la Sasuke fight.

Itachi used everything in his arsenal against Sasuke and he still died, he died happily because that was the judgement he wanted to recieve. Read the Manga. I'm not saying that Sasuke is stronger but Itachi did put his best foot forward in that fight and Sasuke countered accordingly

Itachi used all his techniques, and pulled punches so they would never land a kill. What's so complicated about that? The point is that, since we know Itachi was holding back, it's irrelevant whether he used those techniques or not; it's impossible to judge to what extent Sasuke "countered" the techniques versus the extent to which Itachi held back.

Don't make a thread asserting that an expert with 3T could surpass an MS user when the only example to reinforce that point is the Sasuke vs. Itachi fight, which tends to prove the exact opposite: Sasuke had absolutely 0% chance of winning if Itachi had fought seriously.

And that's not even factoring in Itachi's illness, which caused him to struggle a bit to maintain his facade. He managed to push Sasuke to the limit, Seal Orochimaru, and never let slip his true intentions, all while dying of his AIDS or whatever it was.

Frankly, even MS Sasuke never surpassed MS Itachi. Sasuke needed EMS for that.

So you're saying sasuke needed itachis eyes/power/chakra to surpass itachi. Ironically like madara with hashirama power. :lol

Basically; Sasuke's fighting style relies on large-scale Ninjutsu, and he didn't have the chakra reserves to use those techniques for prolonged periods of time until after he gained EMS. Itachi, on the other hand, could make short work of most opponents with Genjutsu.

I will acknowledge, however, that Sasuke faced tougher opponents with his MS. Itachi's only full-on fight was against Hebi Sasuke, whereas Sasuke faced Bee, multiple Kage-level opponents, and Danzou.

you saying itachi would struggle against Bee, multiple Kage-level opponents, and Danzou...these persons wouldn't keep up long enough for it to be full-on fight if itachi is serious....amatarasu solos bee and tsukuyomi solos everyone else.

danzo vs itachi tho? :lmao:

This is also were knowledge comes in, because Itachi knew about Izanagi before hand. Anyway, with Danzo's slow ass speed he would've been caught in Totsuka.
Actually, Danzo even compared Sasuke's genjutsu prowess and said it was garbage compared to Itachi's.
People underestimate how OP Itachi was. Much like Minato, he was killed off through a "sacrifice" simply because it was nearly impossible to kill them in a real fight.

OT: Itachi 3T > Sasuke MS, Obito MS, Kakashi MS
