Healing a broken leg takes a jubbi jin?? Wow what is this heresy. They can heal flesh wounds but not bone, because they're not the jubbi's jin.

I guess Tsunade became the Jubbi's Jin in order to heal lee's leg too, huh?

Ever since part one they cant repair damage to that extent. Rock Lees injury was only a 50% chance success rate. Gai must be much lower and failed.

Sound explanation. But seriously, not being able to heal a broken leg is kind of like a slap to the face from Kishi. Even normal doctors can do this.

Yeah this is plot at its finest basically he kept guy alive but wanted him to be a cripple since nones healed his leg yet i mean its not like it was lost completlely like you said it only broke tsunade should be able to heal that no problems or at the very least take guys current leg and give him a zetsu /hashi cell replacement ? I dont see why this wouldnt work i feel like kishi was done with guy but he just didnt want to kill him off so he made him lose use of his leg

Actually they can extend regeneration to other via Katsuyu as said in the Manga

I'm sure Sakura healed gai to get him in the condition he is in how, because all Naruto did was give him life force
The IT probably saved gai's life because Naruto literally just had him suffer to live
Gai chakra network , and legs burner away , maybe he didn't have enough cell division left for regeneration because the gates are taxing , or maybe gai didn't want to be healed
