I dunno why most members of this base constantly downplay toneri and the tenseigan. Toneri didn't have any sort of battle experience and had little to no experience in using chakra and dojutsu,i mean the dude has been blind for almost almost all his life. Yet he was able to fight evenly with bsm naruto for some time and almost killed naruto. I mean if hinata wasn't there naruto could have died.

Toneri is underrated too much,so is the tenseigan. Just look at toneri,who had no experience at all in using a dojutsu,he was able to slice the moon in half and pull the moon with his eye,an act that dwarves the strongest rinnegan gravitational technique ever seen which was done by someone on hagoromos level.(if someone with no experience in using a dojutsu and no rikudou chakra could do that)now just imagine what someone like hamura could do with the tenseigan.

Face facts people,the tenseigan and toneri are not filler and fodder,if toneri had the same experiences as naruto and sasuke he would be formidable. Give Toneri 17 years of experience in fighting,using dojutsu,chakra,senjutsu. Give him hamura rikudou chakra and two years of experience in using the tenseigan and the rikudou chakra,just as naruto and sasuke were given and lets see if he wouldn't solo-stomp naruto and sasuke.

how exactly do you plan to make the downplay go away by saying Toneri needs all of that stuff to beat either one of them? Give some muggle or fodder those things, and they can probably beat Naruto and Sasuke too. Look at what that stuff did for Kakashi. It made him go from completely irrelevant to being the best or 2nd best fighter against Kaguya for 5min.

Agreed. Naruto low diffed Toneri because of how powerful he is. Sasuke would have a much harder time without PS but anything is possible.

The best part is Toneri doesn't need to steal someone eyes to gain Tenseigan, only reason Toneri needs to steal someone eye is thanks to Hamura sealing or stealing the ootsutsuki eyes.
