No it doesn't, Obito uses it when he can predict an attack with his Sharingan, Ameno swap is instant and won't give Obito time to phase. JJ Madara with his sensing feats and Rinnegan couldn't avoid it, no way Obito is countering the jutsu.

Because Minato used his ftg first. They didn't use their s/t simultaneously together to see which one is faster because that wouldn't work out so well, minato mentioned that himself.
Long snipe kamui absolutely negs because ftg does not have a portal. Even kakashi snipped Gedo mazou's arm before madara's summoning can escape. And summoning jutsu is a space time ninjutsu.

In the past, Obito couldn't react to Minato movement speed but eventually he was able to activate it before Madara grabbed his Rinnegan. Though in the end, his warping itself (both close range and long range) is something Sasuke should easily react to.

No it is automatic. He doesnt need to see the attack. You are nerfing him.

The only reason Obito got hit is because he himself was attacking. He doesnt activate it at will. If he is trying to land an attack kamui will not activate. All this happened in less than a second.

Madara knew beforehand that Tobirama would use FTG. He had SM sensing and was anticipating a suprise attack.

Obito was not adept as he is now with his Kamui abilities plus he was fighting Minato who used FTG better than Tobirama.


Obitos double Kamui is best with S/T. Sasuke doesnt come close.

I doubt anyone can beat Obito's reaction time with the Kamui. He has been shown time and time again to activate it in the blink of an eye when an attack is about to land. Here for example he was just about to touch Naruto. He used the Kamui so quickly he didn't even have time to pause and his hand ended up going through NAruto.
