That would be, fittingly for the forum, a Naruto story, mainly a means for me to practice my story writting skills.
The basic premise would be a modern Narutoverse idea.
Delving deeper into it for anyone who cares to read, I was thinking of this story being a continuation to the series themselves, thousands of years after Naruto's time. At some point after his and Sasuke's death, the whole Shinobi world ended up in a massive war and would have brought down humanity's extinction had the Bijuu not intervened with a massive, extremely complex seal that took away humanity's chakra and, with time, slowly sealed away their memories of its very existence. The Bijuu went into hiding after that, being the only ones able to use and even grant the ability of using chakra, and although humanity was massively set back by the incident, they went on developing until they reached the modern level of technology. Chakra, jutsu, the Bijuu, even Naruto himself ended up becoming part of this society's mythology due to written documents that persisted time.
The story would focus around two main characters, the modern reincarnations of Indra and Ashura, who had been gone ever since Naruto's and Sasuke's death, whose resurgence would act as an omen of the bad things that are soon to come. I won't reveal more in case I decide to invest into it, but what do you guys think of the idea itself?
