What is/was your struggle in High School?

Nothing tbh. It was my last year of high school and in Norway we celebrate something called ''russ''. Basically we party in 17 days straight with a bus or car your group have bought, depends what group you are in. It start 1. may and end 17. may, but it starts earlier because it's your own concept. Really fun though.. miss it.

We walk around like this, and party all night.

English. It's nearly impossible to judge what is good and what isn't until you get the essay back with a 12/100 written on it, and it ruined a bunch of perfectly good books by forcing us to look for non existent symbolism.

(If we're being technical, it's probably the reason i started reading Manga in the first place. English Teachers will never try to ruin something Japanese.)

Team projects (none of the people I ever worked with were responsible or efficient enough)

Waking up in the morning (seriously, that was mental torture, considering I used to stay up to 3-4 AM)

Too much freedom in terms of achievement- the teachers were not being specific on what they needed, they were too blinded by the stupid, wishful thought that students were going to do better if they are given more ways to do something, which only delayed the process of deciding what's good and whats not.

I'm already graduate and working... so I'll just share my struggles before haha!

Good thing I have good friends with me, who teaches me on difficult subjects, play tag or whatever during breaks, and just talk about random stuffs. You know, if it's just me alone and have no friends, I think I won't make it lol! But thank God, I am blessed and met some good friends along the way and share and experience the same troubles we have to be in school.

Grade 12 english. That was my biggest obstacle in my senior year... everything else was easy.

What is the difference between honors/AP subjects? I know AP is advanced placement...

It wasn't that much. Highschool wasn't that bad and somehow I was popular but the few things that I guess"struggled "with was having a lot of real friends. Omg some of those mfers were shallow and pervs. They would try to come around me because of my clothing or how I looked and some of these people were the same douche bags that bullied me as a 7th and 8th grader. And the assumption that I wasn't smart because I was quite and I didn't like to tell others my grades because I don't like to make people feel bad that didn't make those grades and I didn't like to brag.After it was announced who ranked top ten in the class several people in my class came up to me and told me they didn't think I was smart enough to rank as the historian and 3rd in the class.

Academics and Athletics wasn't a problem, there were no hardships because I always determined myself and was always seeking self improvement. What I really had difficulty with was everyone else. I wasn't a very popular kid, and in fact I was very disliked and I strived to not be popular but to not be hated.

As the years went on I got more liked. I feel my senior year I was better than what I was my freshman year. I was friends with a lot of students, but it was hard. I mean I could see a very attractive girl and she'd totally blow me off because of my reputation.
