Yeah she's strong in both character and power.Temari is a strong woman and nothing else, she's competitive and doesn't like to be undermined. Her personality makes her one of the most attractive female characters in NV.
She was pissed when Shikamaru didn't think highly of her because she's a woman (Temari ain't even a feminist. She has always placed her brothers before her and has had a pure heart. Where was she demanding for equal rights?
She moved over with Shikamaru to his village and the interactions she had with him she always considered highly of him.

I think that's what the OP is referring to.
Contradiction!Of course not. Temari obviously blows a lot, and feminazis don't. So yes.
I agree. Though Temari doesn't want to be viewed as an inferior fighter just because she's a woman. But she never advocated for her rights, she just didn't care because the stuff that came out of Shikamaru's mouth were meaningless and she was in a way making Shikamaru man up. I don't know if you call her a proactive feminist. In any case feminazi is just far fetched for her character.

She did criticize him for differentiating her because of her gender though. She was never pissed or bothered at what Shikamaru was saying because she is confident in herself as a shinobi.
Thats what makes her cool and Shikamarus type. She is laid back and cool and lets Shikamaru be himself without wailing out like Ino or Sakura or his mom.
