why would it not be his MS. Indra is the ancestor of the Uchiha and you know the eyes are the distinct trait of Indra's bloodlines. Kishi clearly designed his eyes that way to show it is a unique dojutsu and the only suspect for an unique dojutsu Indra could of had is the MS.

He had a Sharingan and nothing else, if he had a different eye Kishi would have shown it in the manga.

Well one night I had a desire to see Naruto in a Rock Lee costume. So I googled that shit only to find the episode of him wearing it. I realized that night Naruto is all about fanservice. Its real purpose is to please us fans in a exciting way. As long as it does that its canon. You gotta feel it is to see it as canon. Only the chosen few can feel it.
