What a bunch of shit bags are the Argentina fans are, jut look at the swedish fans despite everything they treated Ibrahimovic as a goddamn king even Ronaldo everyone in Portugal loves Ronaldo despite him not being able to win anything with his country or a shitton of players there who have never won anything with their country but have all their countries on their backs, u just dont go abusing ur players every time things dont go ur way.
We here in Albania treated the players who played in the Euro despite everything like national heroes and no one was going around and pointing out individual mistakes, Argentina does not deserve Messi he should have always played for Spain because there are actually people who like him no matter what.
Also its not only Messi, Mascherano as well as Aguero are leaving int football with the likes of Biglia and Higuain following up later.

This does not belong in the Eurocup-thread guys. But that's weak and disappointing from Messi, I didn't expect him to give up just like that.

Italy vs. Spain will be thrilling, hopefully. I'd prefer to see Italy as Germany's next opponent, since their team has many "old" players. Spain would be a tougher opponent. England on the other hand should get an easy win against Iceland. Don't think we'll see a massive surprise today.

Now that we're out of the equation, I feel like there's no contest to Belgium in the upper side of the bracket. The bottom side is still a wildcard. All the major teams are playing well and it will be thrilling to see all those salty tears flowing down the painted cheeks. I know the Portuguese bastards collected ours.

I tried keeping the Copa thread alive but no one commented after me, and this is too big of a news not to take up while we're waiting for tonight's matches if you ask me. I know we have the General football's thread but this is hot and trending. As for the games, I predict a 2-1 win to England and 2-2 and penalties between Spain and Italy =D

That match was an almost identical copy of Belgium vs Italy. Italy scores after half an hour, the opposing team then starts pressuring resulting in a few 100% chances, they miss and then in the last few minutes of the game Pellé scores.
For some reason Italy plays well against strong teams, but suck at playing against lesser teams.

Italy did what was necessary to win be it ugly/less flairs
Their counter attacking plays was very good and gave Spain troubles.
But they need to step up their game when facing with Germany. Still I hope Germany win QF

Seems like we screwed over Spain big time. Convincing play by Italy. I guess it's finally an end to the boring Spain play. They still kept stacking up as much players as possible into the small area around the edge of the box and played a million of those short passes when it was obvious that it's not going to work against the crazy Italian defense. Italy vs Germany should be an even better match. Both teams seem to be rising as the tournament is progressing, and although Germany have a really bad score against Italy (never won a competitive match) I'm going to give them the advantage this time. They're playing really impressive football and it would be a shame to see the final without them.

I love how Spain's time as the "master of football" is really over. First the Worldcup and now the Eurocup. Italy did a good job and will give Germany a hard game. But I believe we can win this.
