If they use Katsuyu slime like Gaara's sand, they will be unstoppable. Katsuyu is more versatile and flexible that Gaaraas sand.

It can even be used to weaken his Sand, given its oil like texture, not to mentions the attacks that can be channeled through Katsuyu. She can heal to kill, she can become acidic, even change form.
In this form she is immune to all physical damage, Shinra Tensi, and even the Corrusive Effects of Kurama, and probably Genjutsu.

And she is even more better than Gaaras sand, because of her mental connection with the Byakugou given them 360 feild vision., and her sensory skill, which further explains how they can control her, because their chakra already freely runs through her, not that they would even need to use chakra because of their mental connection..

She can relay images back to the byakugou of whats happening.

Yata gets absorbed by Rinnegan, and Shinra tensi. And Mokuton Tree.
KAtsuyu doesn't.
And It can change form at will. NOt to mention the sensory and field of visions.
