Would you rather bring justice to a criminal by sending them to jail or would you rather take it into your own hands and murdering a criminal?

Imo Im more about justice but thats because my major in college will most likely be criminal justice lol. I find dying an easy way out for criminals. Sending them to jail is a lot more "fun" for them depending on the crime they committed.

No matter what they did, I'd always choose the justice system. I don't wanna kill anyone because I'd be as bad as them.
And good choice in criminal jurisdiction. I always found that field fun but I swayed away into commercial and immigration jurisdiction when I started law.. Gonna continue it in a few years.

I see no point in ending a life nor locking someone in Jail, since one can never be taught a lesson by anyone other than one's self. So basically any form of punishment is infective. One decides to stop doing something not your punishments make one to stop doing something

Killing would put them out of their misery. I would elect for something like a jail except with a more torturous aspect to it

Depends on the crime, imo.

A rapist or a murderer should not sit in prison for dozens of years and kept alive with tax money from the innocent people in society. Would be way better to use such criminals for medical research, instead of countless poor animals. And if you don't have a use for them anymore, get rid of those people.

I'd agree with that but I know and have seen people who went to jail and realized they should never find themselves in a situation that puts them back there. The problem is so many prisoners released have difficulty finding a home or a job and they end up committing small misdemeanors or in extreme cases felonies that land them back in a cell

Jail should only be for minor crimes the rest need to be executed straight away or make them kill eacother and the winner gets to be killed humanly :), this way prisons are not overpopulated :)

2 cases:

* general prison: You fight for survival and have to kill at some point to stay alive: lesson not learnt

* solitary confinement: Prisoner looses mental abilities within 15 days of solitude.

2 real life problems reference:

My old brother went through many mob justices(whips to the back from community elders), 8 trials in court with no bail and he learnt nothing. Died by a bullet shot doing house breaking unaware it was a cop's house.

My little brother witnessed what happened to old brother. Like his old brother he is a crystal meth addict However, instead of being a gangster outside he fears the mob justice and prison. GUESS WHAT: I BUY STUFF EVERY MONTH BECAUSE HE SELLS THEM TO SMOKE HIS DRUGS. So he finds a way to mess up that won't take him to prison or whip him

As a Criminal Justice student, the criminal must go to prison after being sentenced. But I do have to agree that if the criminal was found guilty for murdering or molesting/raping or committing capital murder WITH SOLID EVIDENCE, they should be executed.

However, I also believe all pedophiles who have been found guilty with solid evidence, they should be castrated.

I'd let the seven gods judge them.

Justice all the way.

Killing a criminal for revenge would make you equal to him

Justice or killing? question doesn't make sense. Justice often includes killing.

And no i normally don't approve of either.

Thats an unfortunate situation that I apologize for your brothers being in, but thats not what always happens in the criminal justice system. Yes there is always biased beliefs in the court and sometimes it causes unfair trials, but in the end many result in a fair trial and its up to the criminal on whether or not they will choose to do it again or not in prison

Fighting for survival in prison is obvious, its something that has to be done but again its up to them to leave and try their best to not end up in there again. Sometimes criminals are put back in jail because it was too much dealing with the outside world once again

Thats what I meant lol, as in would you rather allow the justice system to execute a criminal or do whatever, OR would you rather take justice into your own hands and execute the criminal yourself

Well I made peace with my old brother dying. I am close to hating the little thing, cause he is no good high school drop out being fed while doing nothing the whole day and steal from us.

My point is no matter how fair justice is, no form of punishment will ever be perfect.
Even inside prisons there are guards who bribe and get bribed etc, some judges hold grudges, some races carry stigma etc.
