I mean the guy is the creator of Metal Gear Solid, but the guy's trailer was weird, I mean really weird.

But what if it is :wut: weirdly enough I am pretty sure I can see where he is going with this so I am not particularly worried. However there is a tendency of artists to get too caught up in being artistic to the point that it ends up failing

Eh, there's a chance of any game turning to crap. I personally haven't played any of Kojima's games, but seeing the overwhelmingly positive reputation the man has, I don't think we should worry about that.

Well he at least diserves the benefit of the doubt imho. He has produced many solid titles throughout his career. Though it could potentially be a flop, he will be forgiven if it is. Kohima is not known for producing bad videogames. Hell they even handed over castlevania to him and he did it justice.

But yeah the trailer is a bit buzzare but the game itself still has piqued my interest.

Sure, I get your point. But every game has the chance of ending up as crap. Even the most promising ones, like the new "God of War" or my beloved "Horizon: Zero Dawn" and "The Last Guardian". We just need to wait for more information and actual gameplay to say more about Kojima's new project. ^^

The whole Silent Hills debacle and him being let go from Konami has only served to build up the hype for his next project. It wouldn't surprise me at all if his next game, or the one after that even, was a complete disaster. Not because of the game itself but because of this god complex that his fans have started building up for him. Just looking at the replies above prove this.

The game will just be meh probably, not because Kojima will **** it up, but because the fans standards will simply be sky high just beacuse this is his project and the shit drama about leaving Konami.

Nah, the dude seems to be in the land of the dead. There is no life in that place. He holds mementos of soldiers that have fallen before him, and the people who have been their for him are all now gone. (Hand prints)

Interesting to note that the "tags"/mementos whatever he has around his neck increased by one when the baby disappeared. There were probably five before like that.

I had to watch without sound so I can only guess from images, but he had a baby connected to him by a cord, he had a scar on his stomach which made me think of a C-section then his hands were oily and the baby was gone. Made me feel he was searching for that baby because it came from him but the black liquid made me think it's not human and the cord connecting them made me think Robot.

Nah fam, this game is literally revenge against Konami, he won't let this game screw up on his career as a game developer.

(also all he's gotta do is take every leaf from Might No.9's book and he's sure to not flop, but it's so easy to pick on MN9)

that looks like the guy from walking dead tho. Like why would you put him in another game title. His character has had no development in any other franchise whatsoever it's like putting Samus aran in street fighter, why would you do it?

This game will be like re zero. The baby that he is holding is himself when he was a baby. All the hands printed in his body is maybe just a warning or something like that.

I believe in kojima. He will bring a good game like always. The trailer was weird but the soundtrack was awesome.

Some people have said that this trailer involved konami as well like the baby is the old kojima that is locked in konami's building and the guys that are in the sky are the bosses of the old kojima. The grown up guy is the new kojima and that he wont die bcuz of the song "i will keep coming" meaning he wont get killed by them. Tho he said in the inteview that the game is nothing related to konami so idk.
