Question about PS4

Soo i have a game on disc i play daily. Sometimes when i try to start the game the console makes a weird noise & then reads "Cannot start application". All while it still makes the weird noise i press the eject button, the game doesnt eject though. So then i restart the ps4 & it takes like 2-3mins before shutting off. Mind you i hit the restart button, but it force shutdown for some reason. Anyone can help me out? The disc barely has any scratches by the way.

Watch a YouTube vid to see how to take the disk out.... once you do pop it back in and bam it works.....Maybe I never had that problem....Well once on a hella old PS4 now I have the 1TB COD version.

I dont think so but after it reboots it ejects the disc just fine. I can pop it back in & it works. Its just that its done this a few times in the past few days

It can be your disc drive, I know a handful of people that had disc drive problems, myself included I'm sure it's a big issue with people who own ps4s. The disc drives for some reason break or don't function properly I don't think they cost much to replace try contacting Sony or see if you can fix yourself try YouTube in diy tutorials
