Did Kakashi ever surpass Itachi?

in my opinion i can only see DMS kakashi have a good chance. When he had one sharingan, his MS costed him his chakra and then a lot of that vision in that eye. Itachi would have susano'o etc.

Since when did Kishi always pair Kakashi up against Itachi? They fought once in part 1 and Kakashi got wrecked. Then, it was mainly Naruto who fought that 30% power fake Itachi in early part 2. After that Kakashi and Itachi never fought again.

Anyway, DMS Kakashi >>>> Itachi, but any other time Itachi >>> Kakashi.

Kakashi can only stand up to Itachi with Obito's sharingan. DMS Sharingan with haxxed dual Kamui > Itachi. But with his natural eyes, Kakashi is fodderized. Hashirama, Tobirama, Minato and Naruto without a dojutsu, have all fought and triumphed over Uchiha with 3T through Mangekyou. Kakashi has not and never could do that.

thread title asked did Kakashi EVER surpass Itachi. The answer is obivious yes, but there are so many timeline and since Itachi died young, so you cant really compare Kakashi normal eyes vs PRIME Itachi, only newbie do that :lol

since the worst state of Itachi is just a corpse eyeless :lol

Also you dont take the current Kakashi to vs anything, cause it is really unfair for a character who's whole life always involved with his sharingan, and he has been focus/develope his skill around it to the point that he is better than 99% of Uchiha. You should have taken out his sharingan from the start and LET him using his GOD FEAT intelligent/smart/skill to develope on other skill from THAT MOMENT.

Obito's Power =/= Kakashi's strength. Borrowed Sharingan shouldn't count toward Kakashi surpassing Itachi.
