Haschwalth's power is "The Balance", no surprises there. Basically he takes bad stuff that happens to people, and throws it at other people. If bad stuff happens to him, it happens to his shield instead, and he can throw it at other people.

Uryu's power is "The Antithesis", which lets him reverse what has occurred between two objects. In the chapter, he uses it to reverse who was curbstomping who between himself and Haschwalth. Naturally, Haschwalth no-sells it with The Balance. According to Haschwalth, this could possibly not fail instantly against Yhwach

Ichigo is getting wrecked in a slightly more pathetic way than before.

Yhwach's powers remain confusing for all of us not gifted with four dimensional sight.

Ichigo and Uryu are going to need some help from Daddy before this fight is over.

Gerard remains just as relevant as ever. IE, not.

It's most likely Yhwach. That pattern appears on Ichigo whenever Yhwach is doing his magical quincy powers on him. It happened when Ichigo cut the soul king.

Right but he could still reverse back for the time being. Also if an attack that was enough to kill him hits him then he would die instantly wouldn't he? That would leave no time for him to throw it back which makes Haschwalth victorious, why didn't he just do that?

Well, both their powers work by reflecting attacks. Haschwalth doubles any damage he reflects. If Uryu lands an attack (haha) that's strong enough to almost kill Haschwalth, Haschwalth can reflect it twice as strong and kill Uryu. If Uryu takes an attack strong enough to almost kill him, he can give it haschwalth, who then gives it back, twice as strong, and kills Uryu anyway. Either way, Haschwalth is the only possible winner here.

Finally, because Haschwalth is a villain, his power will work even if he's dead. Uryu, as a good guy, gets no such luxury. (I have no evidence to back that particular claim up, but it's inevitably going to be true)

Idk about Ishida, but Ichigo is in deep shit right now. The only thing I can see him saving right now is either DAD(inb4 one shot) or the one we've been waiting on forever, the savior, Aizen.

Rukia and Renji will probably show up soon to save them. Not sure what they are going to do against the Almighty though.

Uryu's power works by reversing what has happened two different objects/people. Shunsui's power means any damage he takes is also taken by his opponent. Significant difference is that Shunsui's is a passive effect, while Uryu has to activate his power. Also, Uryu should be able to change things other than damage, since it's supposed to be altering the past.


Oh, and Tsukishima could defeat Yhwach. I'm serious. No i'm not.
