Even if she really is an annoying character, can't help but respect her for this one moment of bravery

She was so afraid of Madara she was scared of even breathing in his presence, but she managed to do this later on

She managed to pull it together and act as a diversion for Naruto and Sasuke, and resist Madara's chakra rods that restricted even Hashirama. May not be the greatest but at least she had guts

So this means Sakura has more physical willpower than Hashirama, and Ashura trans migrant. Thanks for the realization and great thread, nice to see more Sakura fans. She slays.

She could and did heal herself so exactly what was the point you re trying to make here?

@OP: In that first scene it was a scare of surprise. Madara had made a conjuring appearance. (And I'm sure most people can see that but ignore it because -Lulz)

In second one, she wasn't risking her life first time- she had taken closer risk with death in her battle with Sasori too(not to forget she was fighting in a war for days and have been on several ninja missions). The point of that scene was to show that the trio still needed to figure out a way to work as a team instead of getting in each others way and not trusting each other's abilities properly or to take them in account when making a strategy ( on Sasuke and Naruto's part) or not communicating it properly ( on Sakura's part).

In short I don't think it was that big a transformation from point a to b ( being scared of Madara to fighting him head on- the whole alliance was afraid of him anyway. They geared up their armies just hearing his name)

Knowing that Naruto could heal her and heal herself just stacks up her confidence.

Was it the first time she took such a risk? Where was Naruto and his healing power when she was fighting with Sasori? Character dislike is understandable but if you are debating a point, your arguments lose credibility when you deliberately ignore or deny that character's credits because of it.

What about her fight with Sasori? We are not talking about that, we are talking about her encounters with Madara and how her reactions changed. She knew she could heal herself and yet, she admitted to feeling helpless under the presence of Madara.

But now with the assistance of Naruto and Sasuke, she was able to come out of her shell knowing that if somehow she could not heal herself, Naruto would be able to. And no, this is not character bashing. Not at all. There isn't anything bad about gaining confidence when comrades are there to lift you up.

Look at the Cavs (if you watch Basketball). Game 6 Kyrie Irving set up the tone of the game, which greatly increased the motivation of Lebron and his teammates. His presence eventually gained them the victory and would continue to influence them through Game 7.

Do you get my drift? The basketball references might seem off so if it is, I apologize.

No and btw Hashi had a bunch more rods piercing him, than the measly 1 rod that pierced Sakura. In short, nothing changed.

Reference to Sasori fight is the same way you bring basketball in - she had taken similar risk there- deliberately taking hits to either be able to take momentarily advantage or enable Chhiyo to get the same.

None of them could fight and come back alive, let alone win, if they had to do it by themselves. So yea, you have a point there when you put it that way, though I still disagree with your earlier post and position at her reaction. Because, other than momentary shock she got, she was still functioning in her usual way and had not given up.

Manga also said medic nins are first targets. Her life had been endangered many times till that point so a brush with death was nothing new to her. But she was not geared up for fighting but focusing on a dying Naruto and Madara appeared out of no where. Her words express that immediate momentary feeling only. She has no shell at that stage. The way you put it earlier she came of more like Usop.

Yeah my earlier post may seem as if I'm belittling Sakura. My bad lmao.
