He shot it because he knew Naruto could defend himself. Sasuke was testing Naruto by acting like he was going to kill him. Both didn't have the killing intent and Sasuke was discreet abut his feelings. If he wanted to kill Naruto he would have done that ages ago after that VOTE 1 fight.

Both barely managed to come out alive out from the attack so I find it hard to believe.
I don't find anything in the entire VOTE 2 fight that even slightly implies that. Why didn't Kishi made it more clear after VOTE 2 when Sasuke confessed he lost and opened up to Naruto about his feelings. Kishi never did that, that tells you enough.

Well if he didn't intend to kill Naruto, then why did he shoot a 8.5 Bijuu powered Indra's arrow his most powerful attack targetting Naruto.

Doesn't matter when Naruto had killing intent or not, he put out all he could. Naruto's chakra arms got obliterated in the same way Sasuke's PS did, Kage Bunshins would've been blown by PS had he foolishly tried to use them (he wouldn't), the Futton punch failed to do much (Susano'o would protect anyway) and Naruto landed that hit thanks to Sasuke creating an opening/distraction and as for Biju RS, Sasuke teleports out of their path.

Naruto = Sasuke

As I said, ya'll are the ones making excuses about Naruto not having a killing intent(Sasuke didn't have his hatred either) and I countered by one of the millions of nerfs Sasuke had in that battle.

People always use this pic to make it seem like it was the sword that really had naruto an pain and couldn't move when it was actually a MS ability same thing happened to sasuke like a page later the fact that he had a sword in his body and didn't die like most he ,got up and recovered like it was nothing should show people how really useful a sword would be
