Lol he would never need the 8th gate and would barely use 7th, especially if he's this "prodigy" they claim him to be. As for the straining/pain. It can be overcome eventually. Lee has no problem with 5th and i think 6th gate. Shit, i think even kakashi has the 1st gate.

He really didn't. Shikaida just stopped him in his tracks before his attack landed and that was the after effects of mostly just air from the force.

Vacuum palm pushes air like he did and his hand is in the same shape as Gentle Fist users, he instincively attempted Hyuga taijutsu but it didn't have any power because he's never learned it

No the only reason that happened was because Shikaida stopped his movements. That was no way shape or form air palm or vacuum palm.
