Well as of right now, Sarada has the Sharingan and super powered strikes, while Boruto has no doujutsu, and only broken Jyuken... so...

My guts telling me Sarada will but I dont want to single boruto out.

I say that probably because she has the sharingan.

At the same time...Boruto does have Hyuga blood. maybe he can learn some hyuga style taijutsu. who knows. In the movie it looked like he was trying to use air palm against shikadai. unless that was something else and Im mistakin...

He just picked up the martial art technical side of the Hyuga taijutsu.

I think Boruto gets the upper edge because he's tributed to Neji as a Prodigy and he seems to be proficient in Jyuuken however he has no byakugan so therefore it will be less effective until later down to the future. Sarada has 1 tomoe sharingan so she might able to go toe to toe with Boruto. Sarada might be fast to react but her attack is very slow whenever someone like Sakura throw your punch, it leaves yourself wide open and boruto is known for playing tactics with shadow clone so really it gives boruto more of advantage in combat.

If Boruto gets anything like SM that boosts his Sensory/Reaction abilities then I'd have to say him. His Dad is an almost unmatched Taijutsu master, besides Gai obviously.

Boruto has yet to perform a single notable feat that would put his taijutsu above Sarada's, but I do believe Boruto has more potential to become a better taijutsu user with byakugan.

Also I think the phrase you are looking for is "keep the bashing to a minimum" or "This thread consists of no bashing at all"

Um as far as feats go in Taijutsu, both he and Yurui (Stated elite from Kumogakure via Movie DB) stalemated in CQC. I believe Boruto had one kunai in his hand while Yurui was using a double bladed form.

Other than that he and Shikidai also exchanged blows before they started using Ninjutsu, and neither had upper hand.

With what Sarada has shown, she seems to take care of her opponents with a simple exchange. I`d be inclined to assume that her Taijutsu would be superior, if that's what she mains over the course of her life.

Future Boruto seems to be equipped with a Sword now. So he's specialty is most likely Kenjutsu. If he actually uses that Dojutsu in good use, I can see his taijutsu being less of a byproduct.

But I'll just assume he's become a weapon user like Sasuke in that regard.

He really didn't. Shikaida just stopped him in his tracks before his attack landed and that was the after effects of mostly just air from the force.
