There are no differences it's the same image. That said who cares, Kubo has one of the best thematic presentations, it's style over substance. What better way would there have been to depict what happened anyway? Ichigo had Bankai then it was broken, there shouldn't be any action shown based on the explanation we were given. The presentation of this moment was pretty well done to me.

How else is he supposed to make the reader question themselves. When the hilt got blown off I literally looked back to make sure I wasn't tripping. Authors such as Kishi and Oda have done the same thing before . It isn't lazy it's just drawing out what happened. If this makes Kubo "lazy" then Akira Toriyama is the laziest mangaka to ever exist and we know that's not true.

Kubo is one of the best artists and I am sure he isnt lazy, but the blank backgrounds always bothered me. The backgrounds are done by assistants so maybe he is understaffed or something like that. But then a mangaka of his caliber should have been provided with all facilities.

When was the hilt blown off? The only things i remember Yhwach breaking were the blade, Ichigo's horn, and our ability to take ichigo seriously.
