 Konan is a woman who stands at five feet from the ground. She has beautiful, short blue hair which ends just above her shoulders. Her piercing amber eyes have a habit of looking almost emotionless most of the time. The sweet color of lavender covers her eyelids and she has a small piercing under her lower lip. She has pale smooth skin in which matches the color of paper. Ever since she was a child, Konan has warn a large paper flow in her hair that is the color of light blue. Konan's expression usually remains neutral, not being phased by many things. The only time her facial expression changed was when she became worried about Nagato. Konan wears an Akatsuki cloak and an Akatsuki ring on her right middle finger, the kanji meaning on the ring meaning "white". Her fingernails are painted orange and underneath her cloak she wears a revealing navy blue rode, which exposes her arms, back and parts of her cleavage. Her belly can also be seen and it is accompanied with four more piercings. Her small feet are shielded by a pair of white high heels in which goes along with the Akatsuki's theme.  | |

 Konan, much like Nagato, is calm, smart, stoic and level-headed. As a child, Konan was bright, compassionate and pretty much cheerful, similar to Yahiko. However, traumatic events throughout her past has lead her to become a very serious person. She doesn't speak much unless spoken to (at Akatsuki meetings) and has always put the safety of the ones she cares about above her own. Prior to the present, Konan had romantic feelings towards Yahiko. When reminded of her past, Konan can appear sad or agitated. She also has a great deal of loyalty towards Pain. The villagers of Amehakure have also given her the name of God's Angel strictly because of the paper wings she uses to fly. Later on in her life, Konan becomes fiercely determined to protect Naruto Uzumaki, as Nagato entrusted his mission of world peace to him. |

 When she was young, Konan's family was killed during the Second Shinobi World War. After that, she was sadly left to survive on her own. A little after, Yahiko found her. The both of them, young and striving, worked to together to survive. Not long after that, Konan went for a walk and found a young, dying Nagato and his dog, Chibi. She ended up bringing him back to their hideout. Over time, the three became best friends. On day, the three chrildren encountered the there sannin, in which aided them with food. Konan impressed them by making an elaborate flower out of the paper wrappers left behind as a way to say thank you. When Orochimaru suggested to kill them so they would not have to suffer the horrors of war, Jiraiya instead opted to stay and teach the three how to look after themselves, which blossomed their skill.During their time with Jiraiya, he made a defense system composed of four planks, each with one red and one white side, attached to a part of a wall of the hideout. Each plank had one of the children names on them. These planks were called called "Hop-In" planks. The reason for the planks were to make sure no one had been captured or to make sure an enemy had not infiltrated the hideout. After Jiraiya was confident they could take care of themselves, he told Konan that she will be very beautiful when she grows up and to come see him when she turns eighteen like the pervy man he is. With that said, he left for Konoha and the three continued to bring peace to their land. As many years and a countless amount of battles, the three formed the Akatsuki. When their group became too big, they were forced to find another hideout, and leave their current one. Through out their time together, Konan became close with Yahiko, and romance began to bloom. During the Third Shinobi World War, their group was approached by a man calling himself "Madara Uchiha". He offered to help them in their pursuits but Yahiko refused the offer, suspecting he only meant to use them.  Through out their quest for peace, Akatsuki's ranks grew and became known throughout of Amegakure, so much so that Hanzō approached the group and offered that they work together. The next day while on patrol, Konan was abducted by Hanzō's men and was brought to the meeting where he ordered Nagato to kill Yahiko in exchange for her life. Konan cried out for them to flee without her, but they refused to leave her behind. Nagato was paralysed in shock by the order but Yahiko stabbed himself with the kunai in Nagato's hand and in a fit a rage, Nagato saved Konan by slaughtering the Anbu and Hanzō's subordinates. This moment proves to be life changing to Konan, as from this day forth, she becomes nearly emotionless. Accepting Tobi's earlier offer of support, Nagato and Konan began recruiting S-rank missing-nin into the Akatsuki. Sometime later, Nagato under the alias of Pain, began a civil war within Amegakure. Konan promised to the villagers that he would bring change and peace to their village and other nations Nagato eventually killed Hanzō and Konan assumed his identity to make it appear to the world that he was still alive and in control of Amekagure.
