! What's a bankai to a God XD. "Tensa Zangetsu is a fearsome power indeed...so yeah I broke it trolololololol". Yhwach is literally plot in the flesh. Okay but before the hype gets too much two points:
1) Tensa Zangetsu. This is akin to Kenpachi's bankai it just became a cleaver. I don't know why Yhwach fears something he easily broke. The panel where the bankai lost it's hilt I literally had to go back a pahe to make sure I wasn't tripping, Kubo had me second guessing. I wonder what was it that made Tensa Zangetsu so fearsome? It may have been more of an annoyance than an actual threat as quotation marks were put around fearsome. Nevertheless the hollow tensa zangetsu destroyed Ichigo and he wasn't even trying. I guess we may know in the future? Or not who knows.
2) So Yhwach is basically hax, not only can he see the future but when he says transform he means he can manipulate any and all "grains of sand" that he desires to manipulate. In other words not only can he see what may happen but he can completely already manipulate those chains of events. Sort of like the difference between me saying I can see everything in a 400 mile radius and act accordingly and I can see and control everything in a 400mile radius. Yhwach was busted nefore now he's just... I don't even know,
Ichigo: "I'll defeat you because I have plot armor!!!"...wait...what happened to my plot armor????
Yhwach: I. Am. Plot.
Essentially Yhwach can manipulate all futures so a 100% favorable accuracy occurs. Of course he cannot manipulate futures that the soul king intervenes in which of course will somehow play a pivotal role.
There's no need to talk down on Ichigo anymore we all know Yhwach spanks that poor child :bdpf:, so Ichigo needs a soul king level power up because even without almighty Yhwach is still insanely powerful opponent. Of course transforming the future would explain how he countered Ichibei and it was hinted that all abilities would be useless and be his "ally" as he can simply manipulate any future bar soul king related.
