When you and your date reach a joint conclusion to go on a date to a restaurant, do you pay it all or do you split?

I split quick. I pay for my "best" friend's food quite often and he pays for mine, depends on the day but that with respect. I'm not going to treat someone and pay for everything constantly when I don't even know them and not even on a level of a "good friend".

it depends, everyone expects me to pay but im not rich. if i ask them out i try and pay, or if i know they dont have money for whatever reason i'll pay. if they offer to pay their half i let them, if anyone asks me out i pay my half, unless they just wont let it go, not gonna fight a free meal
