That's the name given by Toriyama. When it gets dubbed they're probably calling him Dark Goku or Evil Goku.

Looks like it. At least Toei animation is making it known there are plot points and timeline issues. There's 1 scene in a flashback that Trunks has purple hair. Now he has blue. Mai is older than Bulma, the dragon balls were destroyed 20 years ago when the androids attacked, but Mai is the same age as Trunks?

Not to turn it into a pairing thing, but at least Trunks and Mai, albeit their alternate timeline younger versions, had development. A whole lot better than what we got in Nauto, where there was an apparent Hidden Leaf orgy after the war.

The real reason why Trunks’s hair is blue is because that’s how Toriyama drew it for the concept art.

Nah this is the same future Trunks from DBZ... he even stated something along the lines of "that's the time where my friends are" or something like that in reference to the DB super current time line.

Goten was conceived before the cell games which never happened in future trunks timeline. If Goten existed in future trunks timeline then Gohan would of trained goten along with trunks in order to fight the Androids.
