you're basically saying to mourn on every incident that would occur. You know how many times that'd be in a day? And either way what's the point if those who mourned will end up being hypocrites in the future?
No one is asking you to mourn their deaths. What they are asking is that you show some respect for the dead. You may not care. But there is a person in this very thread that just mentioned his cousin was at this club and was shot in the leg. He was one of the fortunate ones to survive bit how many of his friends died there?

Do you think the NB member should just get over it and laugh about it now? Like everyone else said it's too soon. You can think whatever you want. It's your right. But don't hoist your uncanny narcissism on others who may, in fact, have lost or had someone injured in this pointless attack on human life.

Well I use to live in Orlando a burglar broke into my house and starting shooting held a gun to my grandfather head used him as a shield , both my neighbors grabbed their guns and I grabbed mine and starting shooting the guy ran. My grandfather never approved of guns but trust me his opinions changed, my cousin is also on this forum his house got broken into most of the men in my family now approve of guns being in the house.

You do know that if they ban guns they'll just pay for it from counterfeit makers right?

This doesn't change the fact that this incident would've most probably not happpened. He was a suspected terrorist yet he was allowed to get a gun. The incident before was also with a gun stop deluding yourself.
The news said he was not on the terror watch list it would not change anything what i agree shouldnt be sold are assualt rifles

OT: shooting gays= terrorism

Foh...
Or maybe the fact that the culprit phoned into the police that he is doing this the pride of the Islamic state before shooting up the place and the fact that they are taking credit for the attack, is why shooting gays=terrorism. Did you do your research or are you just going by what other people told you? Smh

Gun control doesn't mean no one has guns, gun control means that people who are under investigation by the FBI for a history of actions and beliefs that indicate extremist terrorism can't go get guns DURING THE INVESTIGATION FOR BEING A TERRORIST.

thats not gun control. when you pass laws to make it harder to get guns, that's Literally gun control. what you're talking about is violating a mans constitutional rights based on suspicion. YOU CAN NOT DO THAT. All they can do, and should do, is keep tabs on his purchase, keep tabs on his internet search history, his phone calls. this is actually in violation of privacy, but at least they would have a good reason to monitor him. H's a possible radicalized threat to the states.

you dont turn your society into sheep, just to spite a wolf, thats redundant and backwards.

there is other ways besides what you people living in lala land suggest.

Im from Miami Gardens, I have lived everywhere in Miami, which I assure you has a higher crime rating than any other city in Florida, most likely, beside maybe westpalm/pompano/ftlauderdale. the point is I totally agree, people here are on there computers just typing away fairy tail Bs. They literally don't understand that in the states, shit happens, and you can accept and prepare for it, or live your life in hopes that nothing tragic ever happens to you in that manner. Glad you and your gf is ok bro.

His ex-wife reported that he was mentally ill and the media itself found out he was affiliated with isis question remains how did that slip through the cracks and yes ofc
Because of human error he seemed to check out he was only on the list from 2014-2015 there are obviously cracks but since he was off the list he was allowed to by guns as was written in the 2nd amendment

Hmm this raises the question why they allowed this to happen. Because that's exactly what happened here. Definitely raises an eyebrow.

"Guns don't kill people, people kill people" -- How many times am I gonna here that?
Why does America still have the right to bear arms? They've shown they can't be trusted on multiple occasions. Make it ****king hard for people to get guns and this stuff won't ****ing happen like here in the UK.
just so you know that taking away guns does not take away terrorism. the guy had an explosive that would of killed more people. the guns were a back up plan. people who advocate the removal of the second amenmend are those who are willing to lose the right to free speech and therefore are nothing but sheeps allowing themselves to be killed.

50 innocent people died because 1 man hated them.

America should be better than this, but we're still living in a society which can't even accept that gays are a part of nature, regardless of the evidence.

What's absolutely baffling is the fact that the culprit was able to buy the gun legally even though he was previously investigated by the FBI multiple times and frequently spoke of killing people. What the ****?

Yet the outcome was the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.

I hope we all can learn from our mistakes and move to progress and change the outlook of the world rather than deflecting the the problem altogether.

That last sentence was a lie. Republicans are anti-free speech more often than Democrats are.

The man police say killed 49 people at a gay nightclub in Orlando on Sunday had visited the club at least a dozen times before carrying out his attack, a witness told the Orlando Sentinel on Monday.

The suspected shooter, 29-year-old Omar Mateen, may have also used gay dating apps according to reports from MSNBC and the Los Angeles Times.

Three other witnesses confirmed that they had also seen at the nightclub more than once before.

"Sometimes he would go over in the corner and sit and drink by himself, and other times he would get so drunk he was loud and belligerent," one witness, Ty Smith, told the Sentinel.

"We didn't really talk to him a lot," he added. "But I remember him saying things about his dad at times. He told us he had a wife and child."

Smith later told The Canadian Press that Mateen said that he "couldn't drink when he was at home—around his wife, or family. His father was really strict."

"He's been going to this bar for at least three years," Chris Callen, who performs at Pulse under the name Kristina McLaughlin, told The Canadian Press.

Smith and Callen say that they stopped talking to Mateen when he pulled a knife on them after they made a religious comment.

"He said if he ever messed with him again, you know how it'll turn out," Callen said.

An Orlando man told MSNBC's Chris Hayes on Monday that he had seen photos of Mateen on the gay dating apps Grindr, Adam4Adam, and Jack'd over the last several years. At least two of the man's friends had been contacted by Mateen on the apps.

"He was very creepy in his messages, and I blocked him immediately," the man said.

Kevin West, another regular at Pulse nightclub, told the Los Angeles Times that he chatted with Mateen on and off for a year on the gay dating app Jack’d, but had never met him in person. Incredibly, West said he met him for the first time as he was dropping a friend off at Pulse on Saturday night.

“He walked directly past me," West said. "I said, ‘Hey,’ and he turned and said, ‘Hey,’” and nodded his head, West said. “I could tell by the eyes.”

The reports come after Samuel King, a drag queen, told The Daily Beast that he had befriended Mateen while the two worked next door to each other in Fort Pierce. King said that Mateen had seemed generally accepting of the fact that he and his friends were openly gay. King said that he even recalls Mateen going at least once to the nightclub where King performed.
he visited pulse before said event allot and had profiles on gay dating apps:kk:
