No, I don't think it's not funny now, I thought it was funny but it was in poor taste. Let the people mourn and then when this becomes just a bad memory go ahead and make the jokes. It's too soon.

Also, I think it's sad that people don't care just because they were gay. If your first reaction upon hearing life was lost is a joke, then you need to reevaluate your life.

I mean its not that i didn't find it sad. Ofcourse, its a tragedy that so many people died by a mental ill idiot who probably hates gays ??( didn't read on anything about it yet)

But i thought this is narutobase, people won't take it that hard to their heart. I gues i was very wrong this time!

You're essentially saying since we won't care about this in the future, we shouldn't care about this now. It's natural for people to forget about horrible actions, that doesn't mean we should skip the mourning and times of respect.
you're basically saying to mourn on every incident that would occur. You know how many times that'd be in a day? And either way what's the point if those who mourned will end up being hypocrites in the future?

no gun violence, but you have cctv on every corner (no privacy) and your crimes that dont involve guns but involve violence is higher than Americas. So whether its a knife or machette people will find a way....so yes it's the people not the object.

Getting in a weapons debate is off-topic but you do realise that shooting someone is a lot easier than stabbing them right? Especially when we consider the probability of it being fatal. You don't need any weapons, fists would be enough, but the determining factor here is chance.

And where exactly are you getting the idea that those who mourn today will laugh tomorrow? When a tragedy hits it leaves a scar. If you can't feel for the person than alteast have the decency to respect their feelings and don't be an ass.

It's basic manners for crying out loud.

No, I'm saying show some respect when a sad event hits you and you feel the need to show your opinion on the subject. Especially, when the incident has just happened.

If you don't feel sad, don't start making jokes while people haven't even got a day to process what happened.

its better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt.

so you just post based on the threads title like most people here, short attention span I suppose.

bro guns dont walk, guns dont talk, only people do. Guns dont form ideas in their heads. Its time we stop shifting the blame, its people that need to be held responsible, not objects. But I do respect your opinion
