I wanted to start this series soon and wanted to know if i should just stick to reading the Manga or watch the Anime as well?
Don't really want to waste my time if it isn't a good adaption.

Read the Manga. The Anime veers off in a completely different direction at the end. In other words the end of the Anime is Filler and not worth watching.

Is that so? I found the anime to be quite good, but i never expected the ending to be filler.

Same here. The anime is good but I didn't read the manga so didn't it's filler too.

I stuck with the anime first because its actually quite enjoyable, but yeah it does go in a different direction than the manga and does go into filler. I say read the manga first then move on to the anime and enjoy. =D
