All yours then, dear. You perform four handseals and inflict a Genjutsu upon your opponent. Inside said Genjutsu the opponent believes that it begins to rain, something entirely possible with even the simst of water techniques, when the rain connects with the opponents body however, it develops a different attribute. Deadening the opponents muscles and interfering with their nerve receptors on contact, the rain makes the opponents muscles go stiff, tighten and numb, the more rain the worse the feeling becomes. After just a short period of exposure, the opponent loses any real ability to move their muscles making even the simplest of tasks near impossible.
That about summarises that.
And just in time for my chocolate cake.
Pleasure.All yours then, dear.
Nice signature by the way.
(Koton: Ato Waikyoku Honomeku) โ Steel Release: A Torturous GlimmerOkay, let's start with 'A torturous glimmer'. Explain to me what you understand about the technique, I need to know that you truly recognise my techniques potential uses before I let you call it your own. In your explanation, give me some examples of ways that you would use it and also a weakness you believe it has. You can use as much detail as you like, as long as I get a grasp on your understanding we're cool.
Wouldn't change the rank or toughness of the effected technique, no. The S-Rank given to this technique is not a display relating to its strength or the damage that it can inflict. It is more a measurement of diversity andotential size/effect of the wire field created.(Koton: Ato Waikyoku Honomeku) โ Steel Release: A Torturous Glimmer
Rank: S
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: N/A
Chakra cost: 40 upon activation (+1/2 chakra of every Steel Jutsu thereafter)
Damage points: N/A
Description: This technique is a passive ability that can be activated by users of Steel Release with a string of three handseals, once activated it will give every steel jutsu that the user creates an outer layer made up of thousands of outward facing threads of razor wire, making even an flat wall of steel sharp to touch. This ability comes at the added cost of ten chakra per Steel Release technique used.
- Techniques can be created without this effect, but that must be stated.
- Once activated, this effect will cover four steel techniques, after which it will require re-activation.-
- Activation counts as one of the user's three moves that turn.
-1/2 Chakra cost is applied on top of the chakra of the technique used. Etc, A rank techniques will now cost 30 + 15 = 45-
-Can be applied to Steel Techniques up to S-Rank
- Can only be activated twice per match
Basically, you enter a type of mode that coats A rank and below steel in sharp wires.
Uses:
Combine this with my taijutsu style using steel release and it gives all my steel and offensive stile on all sides rather than just blunt damage to stop them just blocking it. So impervious armor used with this means all my body is sharp, would stop people placing seals on me as they can't touch me.
Question: Does it increase the strength of the steel jutsu used with this as they will now have an S rank layer of sharp wires on them would it take s rnak power to destroy them (based on elemental strength and weaknesses)
Weakness: Still doesn't help to lightning release as it can destroy the steel before the wires can do their damage
1. The most basic is you will make it sharper for cutting damage as i pointed out beforeWouldn't change the rank or toughness of the effected technique, no. The S-Rank given to this technique is not a display relating to its strength or the damage that it can inflict. No technique is too big to be paired with this, no technique is too small. No technique is too circular and no technique is too fast. That level of variation is near enough unheard of, especially within the relatively one dimensional steel release.
I can see you understand the technique in its most basic sense, I'm unsure whether you really see its potential and the dexterity it offers you in your style of battle... I'd like to test you more.
Give me three ways in which coating a flat, immobile wall of steel in razor wire can be of assistance. There are many.
Then we will move onto Scorpion Hook.
Second wouldn't happen, no. Don't think of this like you're adding a new layer to an existing technique. You're not increasing a techniques thickness, you're more just modifying the form of the technique you use with this one. Changing the pre-existing outer layer and making it wire instead of whatever it would ordinarily be like.1. The most basic is you will make it sharper for cutting damage as i pointed out before
2. Can this layer take the force of a lightning attack to help counter steal's weakness?
3. Can't think of a 3rd at this moment but i'll be more than interested to hear![]()
I like the sticking property O_O Nice thinkingSecond wouldn't happen, no. Don't think of this like you're adding a new layer to an existing technique. Okay, the first is obvious, damage.
Secondly, this is something I believe will come in handy someday but haven't really experimented with in battle yet. Safe keeping. Throw something with the right consistency at a wire covered wall, and it sticks. Hell, throw a person at it hard enough and they'll stick too. Almost like a really painful Velcro.
Thirdly, catch someone off guard, my battle style is all about making the opponent think they have the upper hand, defending until it appears as though I'm trapped without a hope of switching to offense. All of my techniques assist me in this defensive style of rp. Destroy the wall yourself.
Tell me why you would destroy the wall yourself. What possible offensive use could that set up?
Wonderful.I like the sticking property O_O Nice thinking
And i'd destroy it sanding it outwards as a super sharp blade of projectiles or, having it broken on the floor acts like broken glass for them to step on. Have this on the floor around you against a speedster and they would destroy their own feet
Yup, that about sums it up. Any questions about either tech?(Koton: Sasorifukku - Koko ni norikoeru) โ Steel Release: Scorpion Hook - Get Over Here!!
Rank: A
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: A technique much like the Steel Release: Shackles technique, but performed with the use of hooks. With this technique the user will perform a single handseal and spring up to five kunai-like spikes tacked to chains from their body, the earth or an existing source of Black Steel. Once they dig into something, the spikes will open up, working much like a grappling hook at the end of a black steel chain.
-If used from an existing source of black steel, the amount of hooks will depend on the size of the source. If created from something the size of a kunai, only a single hook will be possible... If used from a wall of steel, the five hooks will be allowed.-
-Hooks sourced from the user's body will automatically break their own contact with the user when making contact with lightning as not to channel it into the user.-
- Source must be within mid-range of the user, and chains from them will stretch only to short-range.-
-If sent from the body, chains can be disconnected at will.-
- Can only be used four times
A very useful jutsu indeed. Your body earth or any steel source. Pretty much any steel jutsu they try to avoid, you use this from not letting them get away.
You can use this as a method to avoid other jutsu, or to save yourself from a fall. Someone uses moving earth core, you've now got a grapple.
Can be used from below them so it's even harder for them to send a jutsu at you at the same time as defending
Downside is: Only reaches short range and most people will nagashi to destroy them before they are bound. But atleast they don't send the lightning to you to shock you![]()
Not at the moment, i feel like i shall put them to the test and get back to you if i have any questionsYup, that about sums it up. Any questions about either tech?
Welcome, I wouldn't allow anyone to use my techniques without first giving them a correct dear standing on how to do so... Sorry if it was long. But that's just how I like to do it.Not at the moment, i feel like i shall put them to the test and get back to you if i have any questions
Thanks for the tips on the first one btw

No, you're fine.If you're gonna do it do it rightdid you want me to teach you steel cjs in return?
