If Sasuke wasn't restricted from ulitilizing his abilities and skills to his full advantage, such as having his sword which he had/used in every one of his battles since the start of Part 2 over the course of hundreds of chapters/several years then conveniently it lost it before fighting Naruto, then Naruto would be dead.
- At the beginning of their battle Sasuke teleported behind him and easily hit him with Chidori despite his sensory ability. If he had his Sword then instead of using Chidori he could have pierced Naruto through the chest/heart for an instant kill.

- And ofcourse later on - they fought in Taijutsu for a whole day, able to land many punches and kicks on each other. Clearly having his sword would have been very effective. It's undeniable. His punches and kicks harm Naruto yet his Sword wouldn't? He's able to punch and kick him all day yet wouldn't have been able to slash him with it even once?

Against Naruto he only summoned and threw 3 Shuriken literally as he was falling to the ground, which each took out an entire clone. Then he got up, activated Chidori and charged at what he thought was the real Naruto. The clone stopped his arm and he was punched by the real Naruto.

Instead of charging at him with Chidori, he could have easily summoned more shuriken and safely threw them from a distance. That's efficient. He would conserve chakra and physical energy, and wouldn't have to worry about being hit himself.
- Aside from not using Genjutsu, Chibaku Tensei, and Bansho Tenin on Naruto, even though he easily did so against all the Bijuu.

There's several other abilities that he didn't use even though they would have been very effective.
- During the Final Rasengan and Chidori clash, instead of using Enton Chidori, he could have extended his Chidori as he and Naruto were charging towards each other, then slash him.

In his battle against Bee, from a distance and with little reaction time, he easily extended Chidori and it sliced through the Hachibi's tentacle like butter. This/the next page.

There was no need to get in close range with Enton Chidori. But Kishimoto likes his Rasengan and Chidori clashes. Can't end without it.
If he's going to attack from close up then Chidori Stream is best suited for that. It's both an attack and defense.
