Well about as strong as your elite Jonin of the Hidden Leaf. I don't know if he was just being lazy because of all those Sharingan he had or not but Sauce did kill him multiple times. But the fact that he still gave an MS user a run for his money (albeit one new to his MS abilities) I wouldn't say he is completely weak. He did have some rather nice wind jutsu and strong elephant summon. I'd say he was about Kakashi's level, maybe slightly higher due to experience and the extra MS all over his body.

Gonna go with this. For a ninja he was strong...compared to DBZ style "Gods among men" Kishi decided to drop in the second half of Shippuden...not so much
