How did Kakashi's Sharingan heal so quickly back when Rin transplanted it? I mean, eye transplatantion takes time and Sasuke spent quite some time getting used to the new eyes.

sasuke didn't just transplant itachi's eye, it developed into EMS. which takes time it seems.
I think that same rule applied to madara when he developed rinnegan on his own without the sage.

Emotions. Plus Sasuke was nurturing a completely new eye and gaining new powers in the process. He was evolving. Kakashi was not.

Toneri for instance tried using Tenseigan before it was complete and it hurt his eyes you have to be patient and let the evolution process complete itself so as to not strain the eyes.

Only EMS transplants require time to heal. That's the only case where an eye needed to heal.
