Not confirmed if it's even returning. I think there's some talk of rebooting the Anime once the manga finishes.
It was never confirmed it would return and it most likely never will. The interest and the ratings are lower than ever and the budget would be nowhere as big as before so even if it were to come back by some chance it would probably suck.
All the talk about it coming back after the manga ends or w/e is just unconfirmed rumors within the fanbase. Without any official source to confirm it, the Bleach anime is never coming back.

Not a bleach fanboy but their recent volume sales is still higher than most manga out there, consistently sold for like 500k++ copies per volume.

This is only because it is ending. Like Naruto sales began to slip toward the beginning of the war arc then spiked as it drew to its conclusion. Same with Bleach. Readers are returning to see how it ends then it will disappear into obscurity.
Hopefully before it does though, the current sales consistency you mentioned keeps up enough to actually make this rumor a reality. I would love to see the Zarachi Kenpachi fights animated more than anything to be honest.
