Realistically we probably won't get new content until the fall (August - September). It seems like a long time, but it'll fly by pretty quick.
Honestly with the way Ikemoto draws, I'm glad he's getting the practice in before he goes into the real 'new content' lol... I mean obviously he's not terrible if you look at his background pictures, but he has not gotten the characters themselves right.

It would have been bad for him to just jump straight through the series without any practice, mind us that Ikemoto has only helped Kishimoto with background panels, not actual characters. That's why they all look like horse crap.
Just look at the backgrounds not the character designs:
